Spinnin Records , which is the largest dance music record label in the world and hosts various sub labels, organized together with Music Allstars Publishing a Writing Camp at the famous Bullet Sound Studios in Nederhorst den Berg, in the Netherlands. Many artists from all around the world have been here to produce their masterpieces and this week the studios are full of new talents who are on their way to the top!

Oscar Ombach from Music Allstars Publishing tells us about the importance of this Writing Camp.

Ombach, who signed a publishing deal with Martin Garrix when he was only fifteen years old, thinks new talents can benefit from this week, since they get the chance to develop themselves around artists that already are experienced in the electronic music scene.

One of the latest talents, who is a good example of this success formula, is the nineteen years old British DJ and producer Curbi who signed Spinnin Records three years ago. Curbi who we all know from his singles “Discharge”, “Shinai” and “51”, collaborated lately with Lucas & Steve and Mike Williams and produced  the track “Let’s Go”. We had the opportunity to speak with this (upcoming) talent about his future career.

Curbi appeared in the studio looking fresh and excited, despite the fact that he just had a 15 hour during flight directly from Asia, after performing in China and Thailand. It is Curbi’s third time at the Writing Camp and he told us he plans to produce some really cool new tracks, slightly different from his past repertoire.

Curbi could unfortunately not announce which vocalists are working with him at the moment, but he said that he will spend some time with Quintino this week. We can’t wait to hear these artists together! The change of Curbi’s style could lead to something unexpected, since he told us that he does not want to limit himself to a specific style or sound.
